The Americlin Communication Academytm is an organization of people with a passion for developing and delivering radio programming of many varieties. More specifically, The Americlin Communication Academytm recruits talented guests; guides the development of new, or existing programming with those guests including, but not limited to, talk shows, presentations, advertisements, announcements; and facilitates on-air broadcasting by those guests of that programming.
The work of The Americlin Communication Academytm is done primarily by Fellows of The Americlin Communication Academytm under the leadership of an Executive Director. Fellowship is granted by application to, and approval by, the Membership Committee.
Throughout this website, The Americlin Communication Academytm will be recognized by either The Americlin Communication Academytm, The Communication Academy, The Academy, or ACA.
The ACA team has an exclusive agreement with station WVGB-FM in Beaufort, South Carolina, to provide innovative radio programming with respect to the contribution of African Americans to American culture. The ACA believes that Black History month fails to capture the true contribution of Americans of African descent to American culture 365 days per year.
Americans of African descent have contributed to the success of this country every day since the inception of slavery.
Areas of contribution are manifest throughout the society - medicine, law, science, education, music, agriculture, the arts, politics, religion, sports, business - to name a few.
This broadcast segment provides 52 vignettes of the contribution of inventors and innovators to American culture by Americans of African descent.
On Saturday, 27 March 2021, the Youth Ministry students of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Kean's Neck Road, Dale, SC, began training with the Executive Director of the The Americlin Communication Academytm to present these vignettes over radio.
There was an excellent response and The Americlin Communication Academytm is scheduling monthly primers to assist the Youth in forming their African American Contributors to American Culture vignette presentations prior to delivery on air.
An electronic copy of this presentation is available for use in the professional and lay community by request to electronic address: Contributors@amcomacad.com.
